Moving into my new place has been quite the adventure. I’m constantly on Pinterest exploring cool decorating or DIY ideas, which I like because I’m refining my own style. I’m figuring out my tastes. Thank you, Pinterest!
One of my first “big” purchases for the new apartment is this Mirrored Coffee Table. I say “one of” because Target had a BOGO 30% off deal and coupled with a few extra discounts/coupon codes, I was able to snag this beauty for just under $100.
I love the mirrored surface; it’ll help bounce light around my tiny living room and make it seem brighter. The lines on this thing are insanely chic. It seriously looks like a fancy schmancy designer piece. Yeah, there are some areas where the glue squeezed itself out, but those are in the more non-visible parts of the table so I don’t mind one bit. For the price and the look you get, it is totally worth it. I like how tall it is too–perfect “kick your feet up and watch The Mindy Project” height.
I’m looking into getting a tray or some kind of mat to have on top of the table to prevent scratches. Right now I’m setting remotes and cups on Ikea instructions. Fingerprints are easily seen, but it’s nothing a cloth swipe can’t fix. Plus, if you want luxury, you have to work for it. Get me Armani, he’s on the phone, too slow, you’re not going to Paris.
My other Target purchase is this Tufted Loveseat that is going to replace that Ikea sofa. It hasn’t arrived yet, but you can bet your pretty little butts I’ll be posting about it when it does!
